I met Angela and Brian for their engagement session at Tuckahoe Plantation this past Friday. This was my first time visiting the venue, and it definitely did not disappoint! When I turned onto the long tree lined driveway entering the property, it was surrounded by large open fields of tall grass to the left and right. I knew I would have to finish the session in the fields to take some romantic photos of the couple. On the property itself were endless possibilities for portraits with lush greenery, beautiful gardens, white fences, and of course the historic home itself.
As soon as Angela and Brian arrived, they both greeted me with a big hug and a warm smile, setting the tone for a great session! There was no shortage of laughter and joking throughout the session, which made it feel more like I was hanging out with old friends.
About The Couple
Angela and Brian met in college and currently live in Charlotte, NC. They enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. They are such a sweet, down-to-earth couple and I'm honored that they chose me to capture their special day. I can't wait for their wedding later this year at Upper Shirley Vineyards! Until then, enjoy a few of my favorites from this gorgeous engagement session!
